Chat channels and rules

How it works

• World chat shows only the last 24 hours of messages; older messages drop off the list.
• World chat runs in slow mode: by default you wait at least 3 seconds between two messages; administrators can set this anywhere from 0 to 300 seconds.
• The server filters banned terms set by administrators (at most 50 per world); moderators can remove messages and issue warnings.
• A swear word is automatically masked with asterisks on the server (*****), and the rest of the message still goes through. It applies to world, alliance, private message and Battlefield writing; putting dots, spaces or digits between the letters does not prevent the masking.
• The AI moderator reads World, alliance and Battlefield messages: a message with severe insults, profanity, hate speech, sexual content, real-life threats, personal information (phone, address) or real-money sales or ads is removed shortly and the sender is notified. In-game war talk and banter are fine; private messages are not checked. If you think a message was removed by mistake, write to the support address.
• Mentioning a player by their full khagan name in world or alliance chat sends them an in-game notification and a mobile push notification.
• Battle reports can be shared straight into chat as cards; the usual chat rules and rate limit still apply.
• The alliance channel is visible only while your alliance membership lasts; access closes when you leave.
• In the mobile app and in 3D, in World and private chat the name of a player with an alliance is shown with their alliance: Name#1234 - [Alliance name]. If the line is too narrow, the alliance code or the line under the name is used; in Alliance chat the alliance is not repeated.
• In the mobile app and in 3D a chat icon is bought from Store › Bazaar › Profile: Bow and Arrow and Kut Fire 300, Sky Sun and Crossed Swords 600, Bozkurt 1.200, Khagan's Crown 2.400 diamonds. The icon you equip is visible to everyone in front of your name in the chat of the mobile app and 3D; it is changed or removed from Appearance Wardrobe › Icon. It is appearance only and permanent on your account.

Step by step

1. Tap the chat icon under the Agenda and pick World, Alliance or Private from the channel tabs.
2. To mention a player, type their full khagan name; to share a report, use the Share option on the battle report.
3. If you get a slow mode warning, wait a few seconds and send again.
4. Report an inappropriate message from its menu or block the player instead of replying.
