What should I do in the first 10 minutes?

How it works

• A new village starts with 22,000 wood, 8,500 stone, 10,000 food, 1,800 iron and 500 gold; together with task rewards this stock takes you to Stage 6 without waiting for resources.
• Every building's first upgrades take seconds: levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 finish in 1, 5, 15 and 45 seconds (divided by world speed); level 6 and above return to the normal duration curve.
• The first five village stage upgrades are fast too: Stages 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 take 1, 5, 15, 45 and 90 seconds respectively; from Stage 7 onward the duration becomes 180 × 1.55^(stage − 6) seconds.
• In 3D, after the practice defence the guide has you raise the Founder's Yurt to Level 2 and claim the first reward from the next-task card in Tasks › Khaganate; until Stage 6 the card glows to show the next goal, and each stage-up shows a short celebration at the top of the screen.
• Beginner protection lasts 24 hours from the moment you join a world; during it you cannot attack real players or be attacked, while scouting stays open in both directions.
• Preparing the Founder's Yurt, production buildings and a first line of defence before protection ends is the safest start.

Step by step

1. Select Founder's Yurt in the city view and start the first development.
2. Check wood and food production in the top resource bar; use resources that are close to filling up.
3. Follow the order of construction process and establishment tasks by opening Agenda.
4. Build production buildings balanced as the new structure opens; don't invest only in one source.
5. When the army opens, train a small contingent and first gain experience in NPC settlements with close source points.
