How is warehouse capacity calculated?

Each resource's warehouse cap grows with a linear formula; a separate floor kicks in for the exponential building costs, and food also has an army floor.

How it works

  • Capacity = resource base + (village stage − 1) × stage coefficient + Founder's Yurt level × yurt coefficient + related building level × building coefficient.
  • Formula (wood): 100,000 + (stage − 1) × 18,000 + Founder's Yurt × 14,000 + Lumber Camp × 22,000. Example: Stage 5, Founder's Yurt 5, Lumber Camp 6 → 100,000 + 72,000 + 70,000 + 132,000 = 374,000.
  • Floor rule: capacity can never be below 110% of the next level cost of any building in the village; buildings at their maximum level are ignored and an unbuilt building counts with its base cost.
  • In the capital the founding cost of the next village also feeds this floor; once all 10 villages exist that cost is ignored.
  • Example: Stone Wall 10→11 needs 645,499 stone; if the linear capacity is below that, the cap rises to 1.1 × 645,499 = 710,049 stone.
  • Food army floor: food capacity can never be below 110% of the village's army capacity × 100 food. Example: a village at Stage 10 with Founder's Yurt 15 and Khaganate Yurt 12 has an army capacity of 25,800; its food store is at least 1.1 × 25,800 × 100 = 2,838,000.
  • In most villages the army floor stays above the linear food formula; there the food store grows with whatever grows army capacity: stage, Founder's Yurt and Khaganate Yurt.
  • The warehouse cap does not stop production; the amount above the cap is recorded in the Outside the warehouse counter and can be recovered for 200 diamonds once space is freed.

Step by step

  1. Tap the resource in the top bar; read the capacity value and the fill ratio.
  2. In the building panel compare the next upgrade cost with the capacity; if the cost exceeds the linear capacity, the cap has already been raised to the 110% floor.
  3. To grow capacity permanently, upgrade the related building (Lumber Camp for wood, Stone Wall and Watchtower for stone) or the Founder's Yurt; in most villages the food store follows army capacity (stage, Founder's Yurt, Khaganate Yurt).
  4. A stage upgrade grows the capacity of all five resources at once; advance the stage before big spending.

Key numbers

Capacity floor
%110 — The warehouse can never be smaller than 110% of the next level cost of any building in the village.
Food army floor
Troops × 110 — The food store can never be smaller than 110% of the village's army capacity × 100 food.
Overflow recovery
200 diamonds — Resources waiting outside the warehouse return in one action, up to the free space available.
