Kale Önü battle (against players)
In Ötüken Land – Season 3, an attack sent on a player village from an up-to-date 3D game is a 5-minute battle in front of the defender's real city; both sides command their own troops, and the server confirms the result by replaying the battle.
Unlocks: Ötüken Land – Season 3; the attacker's 3D game (the app or kairaonline.com/3d) must be up to date. Attacks on Kut monument villages, plunder, scouting and attacks sent from the web or the mobile site are not Kale Önü battles.
How it works
- In preparation the attacker sets the attack plan: each troop goes to the centre, the left or the right wing, with a formation per troop and the number of rams. The defender sets the defence plan: archers on the wall and the towers, troops at the gate, in the courtyard or before the wall (at most 60%).
- In battle you select troops, march them, point at targets and use skills. The attacker presses the walls with RAM FORWARD / HOLD, BUILD LADDER and CLIMB THE LADDER; the defender answers with OPEN / CLOSE GATE, SALLY OUT, PULL BACK and TO THE WALL. While the gate is open, the enemy can rush in too.
- If you are not in the game, the commander fights for you: as a defender it starts from the plan saved in Army › Garrison › DEFENCE PLAN. The commander also takes over a unit you have not ordered for 60 seconds; your next order takes it back.
- The battle ends when the enemy holds the Otağ for 15 seconds, when an army breaks, or when the attacker calls RETREAT. If time runs out, the standing power and morale are compared; an intact gate gives the defender a share.
- Buildings are damaged only if the enemy gets inside the walls (the gate is broken or a ladder is climbed) or the Otağ falls. If the attacker wins, loot is taken by carrying capacity as today.
- In preparation neither side sees the other's army; the army shows when the battle starts. The defender's troops are locked in the village as soon as preparation opens.
- An attacker whose app is not up to date fights today's 2-minute live battle. The commander fights for a defender who watches from an old app or the 2D web.
Step by step
- Save the plan to use while you are away in Army › Garrison › DEFENCE PLAN.
- In the 3D game, pick the target player village and send an Attack; the march card says Kale Önü.
- When preparation opens, enter the battle screen, set the attack or defence plan and tap READY.
- Command your troops in the fight; if you attack, drive the ram, build ladders and RETREAT if needed.
- When the server confirms the result, check the losses in the report in the Töre Book.
Key numbers
- Duration
- Up to 5 min — Preparation opens at most 3 minutes before the battle; the fight lasts at most 5 minutes, and the last minute is the Final Charge.
- Result
- On the server — Both phones play the same battle at the same time; when it ends the server replays it, and losses and loot are written from that result.
- Ram
- 20 engineers = 1 — Every 20 Siege Engineers in your army drive one ram (at most 3); if you pick fewer rams in the attack plan, the remaining engineers build ladders.
- Ladder
- 4 engineers · 25 s — A unit with at least 4 engineers builds a ladder at the foot of the wall in 25 seconds; at most 2 ladders per battle. Defenders on the wall can bring a ladder down.
- Garrison
- Locked — An allied garrison in the village joins the battle and cannot be recalled until the battle is settled; its losses fall on its senders.
The Kale Önü rehearsal (Trainings › Battle training) is the way to try the same battle without losses.
