Unit experience
In worlds with the new combat rules, unit types that survive battles gain experience; 100 experience gives +10% power.
Unlocks: In worlds with the new combat rules (new worlds and Ötüken Land – Season 3).
How it works
- Experience is kept separately for each unit type in the village (0–100); experience ÷ 10 percent is added to battle strength.
- Gain = (victory 10, defeat 5) × share of survivors × ratio of the opponent's strength to your own (at most 1). Crushing a very weak target earns no experience.
- If only part of the type fought, both the gain and the loss effect apply by that share.
- Losses erode experience. Newly trained soldiers dilute the type's experience: adding 100 new soldiers to 100 soldiers with 100 experience makes the experience 50.
- Units that fight in defense also gain experience; agents gain no experience.
- A Unit experience row appears in the battle strength breakdown.
Step by step
- Select the unit on the Army screen; its experience is shown on the selected unit card.
- Pick your opponent wisely: a victory against an opponent close to your own strength gives more experience.
