06.01 · World map and marches

Navigation, zooming and filtering on the map

Find targets by dragging, zooming, and filters.

How it works

  • The world is a square continent of 1,024 × 1,024 coordinates; the same set of resource sites repeats in every 256 × 256 unit region.
  • The distance between two points is measured in a straight line: √(Δx² + Δy²); every march duration derives from this distance.
  • Zoom works between ×0.48 and ×2.35; the map opens at ×1.65 near your own region and the Overview button returns to the far camera.
  • Tapping a target opens an info card with its owner, stage and, if any, the owner's other villages in the world.
  • Byzantine frontier fortresses and Kut Monuments appear with their own markers on the map; tapping a fortress marker opens the event screen.

Step by step

  1. Open the world section.
  2. Drag the map or select the area you want to go from the mini map.
  3. Separate the village and source signs with zoom inspections.
  4. All use NPC placements, Player placements, Alliance, Enemy, or Resource filter.
  5. Press a target to open the information card and available flights.
