Soldier training

Start training from the active village’s War Council.

Unlocks: Military training opens with Stage 4 and the Archery Grounds.

How it works

  • One order trains 1–250 soldiers; time and cost grow linearly with the count, so the production rate does not change.
  • There are five independent training lanes; a lane runs one job at a time, different lanes run in parallel, and the total of active jobs never exceeds 5.
  • Seconds per soldier = base seconds × Reserve Horse Pack multiplier × Commander multiplier ÷ world speed, then × the world training multiplier (default 0.82); each step is rounded up.
  • With the Commander on Training Grounds the multiplier is 0.90 (in newly opened worlds 1 − (9 + office level)/100: 0.90 at level 1, 0.81 at level 10); each Spare Horse Herd level shortens Mounted Raider and Heavy Cavalry training by 3%, up to 15%.
  • Example (world speed 1): Steppe Archer 90 × 0.82 = 73.8 → 74 seconds per soldier; 100 soldiers take 7,400 seconds.
  • In the same example with the Commander on Training grounds: 90 × 0.90 = 81 → 81 × 0.82 = 66.42 → 67 seconds per soldier; 100 soldiers take 6,700 seconds.
  • Resources are deducted when the order is placed; the capacity check counts ready soldiers, the queue, and units marching out or returning together.
  • In worlds with the population rule each soldier uses 1 idle person when the order is placed (100 people always stay in the camp); Mounted Raiders and Heavy Cavalry also need 1 horse per soldier. The preset amounts and Max never go past this limit.

Step by step

  1. Choose the open unit you want to train in the Army.
  2. Set the amount with minus and plus (50 at a time), the 50x–250x presets or Max.
  3. Check total cost and estimated training time.
  4. Press the Start Training button and follow the order of operation in Agenda.

The training order only works in the active village; switching to another village does not carry a queue or stop it.
