Bandit Camps and the Bandit Chest

Hunt the bandits around your villages in the 3D World; every victory sends a chest to your alliance.

How it works

  • Bandit Camps appear only in the 3D World of the 3D game (mobile app and /3d): around every village of every player who has played in the last 3 days (within 64 cells, 18–56 cells from the village) there are 3 camps. The Atlas and the web map do not show bandits.
  • Camp level is 1–10: the same as your village's stage, or one level below or above it. The strength threshold follows the same rule as NPC settlements: at least 520, level × 420 + stage × 160 (Lv.1 580 … Lv.10 5,000).
  • A Bandit Camp is raided with a field unit: 20 energy, battle losses go to the Infirmary as wounded. Loot fills the unit's free carrying capacity using the NPC settlement template; the higher the camp's level, the more loot it can give: at most 20,000 × level² (level 1 20,000, level 5 500,000, level 10 2,000,000). There is no siege or gathering at a Bandit Camp.
  • When the unit reaches the camp it waits two minutes for your choice. ENTER BATTLE opens a live battle: you fight with your soldiers in the clearing in front of the camp using orders, formation and skills; if the Bandit chief falls the remaining bandits scatter. The battle lasts at most 5 minutes; you can leave with Retreat. Siege Masters do not take part in live battle.
  • FAST RESOLVE settles the battle immediately with today's rule: if your field strength meets the camp's threshold it is a victory with 4% wounded. If you choose neither, it resolves on its own with the same rule after two minutes; a live battle that is opened but not finished is resolved the same way when its time runs out.
  • In live battle, if your strength is below half the camp's threshold, it does not count as a victory. A victory has at least 2% wounded; in a victory won with strength below the threshold this rate rises. Loot and the chest are the same either way.
  • A defeated camp disappears immediately; its spot stays occupied for 30–60 minutes, then a new camp spawns nearby. A camp with no active village left nearby, or one that has reached 48 hours, disbands.
  • On victory a 48-hour Bandit Chest goes to the members of your alliance (excluding you and bots, at most 25 people): Lv.1–3 15 minutes, Lv.4–6 30 minutes, Lv.7–10 1 hour of production plus 30 minutes of Bounty. The chest adds production to the opening member's selected village, up to the warehouse limit.
  • A hunter sends at most 10 chests a day; a member receives at most 30 bandit chests a day. Bandit chests send no notification; they wait on the Alliance Council › Headquarters › Gifts page, and Open all opens them all at once.
  • A bandit victory scores points in the Tribal Council Race's Raid Week like a 3D field camp raid.

Step by step

  1. Open the 3D World in the mobile app or at /3d; find the tented, black-bannered camps around your village or the BEST TARGET sign.
  2. Tap the camp: the card shows your strength, the camp's threshold and the chest that goes to the alliance on victory.
  3. Send your unit with ATTACK; on arrival choose a live battle with ENTER BATTLE or FAST RESOLVE.
  4. Under the victory card you can see how many members the chest went to.
  5. Your alliance mates open their chests from the Alliance Council › Headquarters › Gifts page.

A Bandit Camp does not raid players, cannot be captured and is not a Kut site. If you have no alliance, a victory still gives loot but no chest is sent.
